Handwoven in the Jawzjan region of northern Afghanistan, this Barjasta rug is the work of Turkman artisans who have carried this craft through generations.
It unites two weaving traditions in a single piece: a flat-woven kilim base interwoven with hand-knotted raised pile, creating a depth of texture that only comes from hands shaped by a lifetime at the loom.
Crafted entirely from hand-spun wool.
